General Disability Services

About Us

Our purpose is to support ability and create access and participation opportunities for people with a disability so they can achieve their life goals. We do this by implementing personal plans for people with a disability, providing in-house support for clients, their families and carers and skills training to promote independent living.

With a team of dedicated staff and volunteers, accessability promotes independent living for people with a disability. By working one-on-one with clients we provide a wide range of supports to promote their wellbeing and choice. We help them take control of their lives.

Established in 1991, accessability started as a small, local not-for-profit organisation providing respite for families and carers in the region. While we still provide respite options, accessability has grown to now offer a range of services including: community inclusive programs, accommodation support, assistance with daily living and help to plan and coordinate your own services. Our Person Centred approach enables us to work with our service users to realise their life goals and dreams.

accessability operates in the Upper Great Southern region of WA. We know our region and our community – one that covers 65,000 square kms and includes the Town of Narrogin and 23 surrounding shires.
