About Us

The Independent Living Centre of WA is an information and advisory service.The Centre has information on equipment, resources and environmental design for people with disabilities, senior citizens, families, carers and health service providers. Advice about the suitability of equipment, adaptations and techniques is available from the health professional staff, which includes occupational therapists and a speech pathologist. Services can be accessed via our information hotline or by calling to make an appointment to visit the display Centre. There are over 2,000 products to trial at the centre and 6500 items are described on the ILC equipment database. Information on products can be provided via email, fax or post. Other services are a mobile unit, ILC Technology, an equipment lending library, education and training.
