About Us

Neuromuscular WA is a small organisation making a big impact. They are passionate about improving the quality of life for people living with neuromuscular conditions, whom they call their community. They work with hundreds of families, helping them get the best support and services they need and connecting them to others with similar conditions, enabling them to lead full lives... It’s what they call Support for Life.

Neuromuscular WA provide counselling, CoughAssist™ machines, NDIS support, social programs and advocacy to their community. It’s care that’s just as (if not more) important than research and medical support.

Neuromuscular WA need help to raise money to keep delivering all of the really important services they provide their community such as counselling, CoughAssist™ machines, NDIS support, social programs and advocacy. It’s care that’s just as (if not more) important than research and medical support – it’s what they call Support for Life.

It’s hard to believe that they don’t receive any ongoing government funding which is why fundraising is critical for their existence.

They run an extensive program of social events and activities that consist of get-togethers for different age groups and carers. It’s all about meeting others in the same situation, nurturing connections and escaping the obstacles they face on a daily basis.
