About Us

The Fibromyalgia Support Network of Western Australia is a non for porfit organsation and registered charity run soley by volunteers. We provide support networks for people diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. Services include monthly meetings, social coffee meets, newsletters, website, online forum and facebook group. It is a chronic pain condition that affects the muscles, tendons and ligaments, but not the joints. It is a condition that challenges both patients and healthcare professionals. Symptoms are wide ranging and wide spread, including amplified pain and other sensitivities, sleep disturbance, and chronic fatigue. As yet there is no cure for Fibromyalgia, but there are treatments that help reduce symptoms.
