About Us

Girl Guides meet in groups called Units, usually for about one to two hours a week during school term. Girl Guide Units are run by Unit Leaders who volunteer a few hours each week. Unit Leaders deliver a fun program of what we call ‘non-formal learning’ – which means girls get introduced to all sorts of exciting things, from STEM activities to the outdoors, from fire-lighting to cake decorating.

There are no limits to what Girl Guides can do – and it doesn’t matter if you don’t know how to do these things yourself because it’s all about having a go!
