About Us

City Of Stirling

The Stirling Seniors program is designed to assist in supporting older residents in their day to day lives. Whether it’s assistance with shopping, transport to and from social or medical appointments or a cup of coffee with a fellow senior, we’re here to help.

The below services are provided by trained staff and volunteers and are aimed to support independent living in local community.

Food services

If you need a little help in the kitchen, our food services team can provide delicious, nutritious meals delivered straight to your door. Under the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP), the cost of meals is subsidised by the government with a small cost payable by the customer. Meals can also be purchased privately and will be charged at the standard price.

Community transport services

If you require help with transport to get you to and from appointments, you may be eligible for our transport services. We offer individualised transport to and from your home to your local City of Stirling community centres, medical appointments, shopping centres, and more. The service is delivered primarily by volunteers, who make it their priority to get you to your appointment in comfort and on time.
