About Us

Activ Foundation's Recreation Department provides a wide range of holiday and leisure programs for people who have an intellectual disability. These programs are designed to cater for the individual requirements of people of varying ages, levels of disability and support needs. They also reflect Activ Foundation's philosophy that people with disabilities have the right to use their leisure time pursuing an activity of their choice. We offer a wide range of holidays from local, interstate and overseas to special care camps for people who require a one-to-one form of assistance. Opportunities to participate in both non-competitive and competitive sporting activities are available. Recreation Officers will advise on the most appropriate program or possibly design a new one if there is an obvious demand.
