About Us
The SLSWA is a voluntary organisation, of over 11000 members providing protection to the public who use the beaches. Competition for our members is provided as an incentive and encouragement to join.People with disabilities are welcome to become members. There are interests in the club for all. Some topics which may be of particular interest to people with disabilities might be training in the use of 2 way radios, first aid, artificial resuscitation, surf awareness and public education. People with disabilities could also assist by being officials and announcers at our competitions. People with disabilities who are able to pass the necessary tests and attain the required standards are able to become qualified.
Activities: Surf lifesaving, swimming, rescue, first aid classes, CPR classes, surf sport events
