Grow is a caring and sharing, community based organisation with a unique program for improving and maintaining mental well being. Offering practical steps and mutual peer support to help you recover your mental health and achieve your personal goals. In a safe and confidential environment, experienced volunteers lead weekly group meeting for no charge. Everyone has an opportunity to share their current life challenges if they wish.
All adults are welcome, and most members suffer from depression and anxiety. All group meetings are confidential and anonymous. No referral or registration are needed to attend a 2-hour group meeting.
Grow was established in Sydney in 1957; today there are over 180 Grow groups in Australia, with branches also in New Zealand, Ireland, the USA, and Trinidad. Grow WA celebrated 50 years in 2017!
There are currently 23 groups operating in the Perth metropolitan area and 4 groups in country Western Australia. All group meetings are confidential and anonymous. No referral or registration are needed to attend a 2-hour group meeting.
