About Us
The Mental Health Law Centre provides individual advocacy services to people who experience a mental health illness.
The Centre is a statewide community legal centre providing free legal advice and representation on matters covered by the Mental Health Act 2014.
The Centre also has a Telephone Advice Line to provide quick legal advice.

Our primary service is to provide free confidential legal advice and representation to people who are involuntary patients in the West Australian mental health system. Depending on capacity, we may also be able to assist with other legal problems, including criminal matters and guardianship and administration where the matter relates directly to mental illness.
