People Who Care - Guildford

People Who Care Inc. is an independent not-for-profit organisation which provides services to the frail, aged, people with disability, carers and others with special needs to enable them to live independently for as long as possible and to avoid premature or inappropriate admission to long-term care facilities.

A team of full time and part-time staff supported by over 350 volunteers and regular school and corporate groups assist in service delivery.

Activities: Transport, Gardening, Leisure Centre Activities for Seniors, Nursing Home Visiting (ACVVS Scheme), Social Support outings and Shopping, minor Home Maintenance.  Starting Over Support - assisting people starting over following domestic crisis.
