About Us

People Who Care Inc. (PWC) is an independent not-for-profit organisation which provides services to the frail aged, people with disabilities, carers and others with special needs to enable them to live independently for as long as possible and to avoid premature or inappropriate admission to long-term care facilities.

A team of full time and part-time staff supported by over 350 weekly volunteers and regular school and corporate groups assist in service delivery.

Activities: Transport to medical appointments, Gardening, Leisure Centre for Seniors, Op Shop (at Guildford only), Nursing Home Visiting (CVS Scheme), Social Support outings and Shopping, minor Home Maintenance.

Fees: Gardening $15/hour, transport $10 both ways, $7 one way

Available To: Frail aged, people with disabilities

Supporting Disabilities: All disabilities, physical disabilities
