Empower-ED Recovery

Empower-ED Recovery Peer Mentoring is a peer mentoring and support service that provides emotional and practical support, face to face within the Perth metropolitan area, online and telephone, to people living with an eating disorder and their families. Empower-ED Recovery Peer Mentoring  is not a sole recovery support or a replacement of specialised psychological, medical, dietetic or nutritional services.

Nicole is a peer mentor who is passionate about supporting you on your journey of recovery and discovering who you are without your eating disorder. She lived with an eating disorder, negative body image and low self-esteem for many years until she was able to access the right support and treatment to recover and live a meaningful and purposeful life. Nicole knows just how challenging, overwhelming and often hopeless the recovery process can feel. It was also the most transformative and worthwhile experience of her life. Nicole hopes that this can be the same for you.

It is now her passion to support others to become empowered and take control of their eating disorder and work through the challenges of recovery to become fully recovered., just like I am today. Nicole truly believe recovery is possible, including you!
