Mooditj Moodle E learning on line cultural competency resource developed by Polytechnic West. What is Mooditj Moodle? Let us break it down for you: Mooditj is a Noongar word that means....Best/Good/Great Moodle is a virtual learning environment. Creative uses of Moodle enhances teaching and learning for students Mooditj Moodle - Mooditj Moodle was developed as a part of the Polytechnic West Reconciliation Action Plan as an online tool for Polytechnic West staff to be able to access information on services and support for Aboriginal students studying with the organisation. For example, assistance with establishing fee paying arrangements and developing Individual learning plans that will assist us in helping the students specific learning needs, including use of the Indigenous Tutorial Assistance Scheme (ITAS). It is also a resource for all staff, students and community people from all walks of life wanting to learn more about Aboriginal culture, and specifically Noongar culture. Polytechnic West is based in the heart of Whadjuk country, and in partnership with the South West Aboriginal Land and Sea Council (SWALSC) and Langford Aboriginal Association, we have developed this information to reflect and acknowledge Noongar people, culture and country.
