Albert Park Flexible Learning Centre is a Registered Non-State School, operated by Edmund Rice Education within it's Flexible Learning Centres Network; with the collaboration of the Brisbane City Council Youth Team and with the support of the Qld Department of Education, Training and the Arts. APFS is an alternative education centre, where there is a blend of teachers, youth and community development workers, session workers, support staff and volunteers. APFS provides flexibility in an educational setting and encourages young people to accept responsibility for their learning. Enrolment is offered to young people from 15 years for age who wish to achieve a Qld Cerificate of Education. All staff at the Centre are committed to assist young people with their educational, spiritual, physical and emotional growth and wellbeing. We share a common goal of helping community members feel safe and secure in an environment that promotes RIGHTS, RESPECT, RELATIONSHIPS and RESPONSIBILITY.
