Life Stream Foundation Mackay
Life Stream Foundation supports people with an intellectual disability through individualised support and group programs to develop skills, independence, friendships and involvement in his/ her community through community based leisure, recreation and sport.
This service is provided to the community free of charge.
Recreation and sport programs are facilitated by volunteers on a 1:5 support ratio. People with higher support needs are welcome to attend programs however he/ she may be required to bring a carer. A program guide is produced every 4 months. Community Access services can be provided through individualised support or small group programs:

- Life Stream Foundation Innovative funding - funded by Disability Services Mackay
- Life Stream Foundation Recreation Access funding - funded by Disability Services Greater Brisbane
- User pays programs
Recreation programs:
- weekend leisure eg. movies, dinner, bike riding, football games
- special events eg. concerts, festivals
- theme parks
- social club
- weekends away
- regional and interstate holidays
- international holidays
Sport programs:
- adult sport
- school sport
- elite athlete support provided from Rockhampton office
- athlete classification provided from Rockhampton office
