Wentworth Falls image

Wentworth Falls is home to the biggest waterfall in the Blue Mountains with the first drop being 110 metres and the second 48 metres. It was named after William Charles Wentworth, one of the three European explorers who crossed the mountains. Visit the quaint village or take a stroll along the shore of Wentworth Falls Lake, which was originally created to provide water for steam trains. The lake offers a great picnic spot and a children's playground. Current bushwalks available at Wentworth Falls vary from 30 minute to two-hour circuit offering great views of the Jamison Valley and the surrounding cliffs. Please note that the Charles Darwin Walk is currently closed.
