The beautiful Millie Monument is a landmark built to commemorate the memory of James Daniel Duff Trooper No.34 Australian Bushman Contingent Killed in Action at Elands River South Africa (Boer War) 4th August 1900 Aged 25 Years. The monument reads "The Lord Knoweth Them That Are His, This monument has been erected by the residents of Millie and District in grateful recognition of valuable service to Queen and Country."
