Home Care & Safety Services
Home Maintenance helps with some of the tasks that enable older people to continue living safely in their own homes. It includes maintaining smoke alarms, lights and some minor electrical or plumbing work, paths, yards, gardens, doors, windows, roofs and other building maintenance.
Minor home Modifications provides items like ramps, hand rails, chair raisers and other mobility aids to provide safe movement and access around the home
Allied health (Social Worker) supporting older people to think and plan for how to continue living safely at home.
To access this service you must be first assessed as eligible by My Aged Care. If they refer you to our service, you can continue to access support until your circumstances change (higher or lower need).
If your circumstances do change you should be reassessed by My Aged Care.
This service is partly subsidized by the Commonwealth Government and requires a co-payment to be charged.
