About Us

BreastScreen Queensland provides free breast screening services to women aged 40 years and over and recommends women aged 50-74 years have a breast screen every two years. Individual and group bookings are available and no doctor's referral is necessary. Upon Request, Health Promotion Officers are available to speak to community groups and workplaces about breast cancer and breast cancer screening free of charge. For the cost of a local call, women can make an appointment for a breast screen by phoning 13 20 50 or women can book online anytime at www.breastscreen.qld.gov.au. Service is available on some Saturdays - please call to enquire.
