Located just 5 kilometres north of Port Broughton, Fisherman Bay is a coastal community with traditional shacks lining the foreshore and streets. A popular holiday location and famous for its fishing, Fisherman Bay has around 400 houses located on its fish-themed streets, with street names including Mullet, Snapper, Garfish, Whiting, Snook & Trout. Things to do: - Walking & cycling trails - Playground - Boat ramp - Fishing - Foreshore mural - Swimming - Crabbing - Easter Races held annually on Easter Sunday - Snook Road Nature Walk - Launch your boat from the boat ramp, and catch a seafood feast including salmon, flathead, whiting, tommies; or rake for Blue Swimmer crabs in the shallows. Explore the Snook Road Nature Walk, with the 6km flat trail suitable for all walking levels, and shared us for walkers and cyclists. Passing through mangrove forest and samphire shrubland, native birdlife and flora can be found along the trail. Fisherman Bay offers stunning views to Southern Flinders Ranges & Mid North to the east and north-east, and west to Shag Island & Spencer Gulf.
