Just a short drive away, Lake Mountain offers skiing, tobogganing and all kinds of snow activities. Cyclists who enjoy a challenge can take on the Lake Mountain leg of the 7 Peaks Ascent Challenge or the Marysville Lake Mountain Challenge in March. Marysville is 96 kilometres east of Melbourne. The two hour drive along the Maroondah Highway winds through Black Spur to the turn off at Narbethong.
