Australian Red Cross Community Visitors Scheme

CVS volunteers make regular social visits to provide companionship and friendship to residents of an aged care facility either on an individual basis or in a group situation. Volunteers home visit older people living in their own home to provide social interaction. Visits are weekly or fortnightly. Volunteers are matched with a suitable participant or group participants.
