Arts Theatre

Brisbane Arts Theatre provides a range of training options for youth interested in the Arts industry. Brisbane Arts Theatre offers training in Acting, Singing, Dance/Movement as well as all areas of backstage within live theatre - directing, stage management, lighting, sound, costuming, Front of House duties and general crew work. Many of our youth volunteers have gone on to forge careers and further training in the Arts industry.

Operating since 1936, the Brisbane Arts Theatre has seen many faces through its doors. We offer volunteering opportunities for all ages and all interests in live theatre - acting, backstage, directing, lighting, sound, costuming, front of house and set design and construction. The theatre has volunteers at its heart, and operates with the assistance of many willing volunteers.
