Babinda Multi-Purpose Health Centre

The Babinda Day Respite Care Centre is designed to give a carer short term relief from his/her caring role. The centre provides a safe environment with stimulating activities, company and outings. Frail or at risk elderly people with moderate or severe disabilities, young people with disabilities, the carers of those people and socially isolated people who are able to attend. Transport may be provided by the Centres' bus, which is equipped with a wheelchair hoist for clients who have no other means of transport.
