About Us
Join us for some Wheelchair Basketball training at Veoila Arena every Monday afternoon from 4.30pm to 6.00pm (starting 17 July 2023).
No experience needed. All abilities welcome*. All equipment provided.
All ages welcome, but best suited for age 6+ through to seniors (80yrs +).
What to bring: water bottle, snacks and a 'can do' attitude
What to wear: something comfortable (shorts/t-shirt; activewear, covered footwear)
Accessible parking: available at the venue
Accessible bathrooms: available
Cost: FREE**
Whether you're looking to try a new sport, want to keep your fitness up while you're in rehab, or want to join in for social reasons, this is the sport for you.
We have an established athlete pathway from grassroots to elite level, so for those interested there are various opportunities available including travel to Wheelchair Basketball Club Challenge events throughout NSW and the ACT. There are also a number of other events and activities you can get involved in once you're a member. Membership is FREE.
Wheelchair Basketball fosters teamwork, camaraderie, teaches resilience and is good for mental and physical health. Why wouldnt you give it a roll?
