Men’s Group

A good place to yarn with your brothers. The Men’s Group is an important part of Galangoor’s commitment to improving health outcomes for Indigenous men in our community. It’s a culturally sensitive and confidential gathering aiming to empower men of all ages to re-engage with and strengthen their identity, and to develop and thrive as mentors and role models for our community.

Participants yarn it up on a lot of topics such as making deadly choices for better health and wellbeing (smoking, healthy eating and living and being active), and building healthy and supportive relationships within their community and families. Group sessions are free and held fortnightly in Maryborough and Hervey Bay.
