About Us

Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service acknowledges and pays respect to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders past, present and emerging; people; consumers, and staff on whose land we provide health services. 

The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health team is part of our Family and Community Health division.  The aim of the service is to promote the provision of patient-centred, high-quality, culturally appropriate health care, by all of our healthcare practitioners, across the lifespan.
