About Us

Through funding from the Department of Child Safety, Seniors and Disability, PCYC Queensland is able to provide Youth Support Services across 12 regional, remote and metropolitan communities in Queensland. One of them being Rockhampton.

Youth Support Services provides holistic, individualised, practical and case management support for at – risk young people that are 8 to 21 years of age.  The service offers planned support towards achieving goals within the young person’s priority areas for change. Support is delivered in the context of the family wherever possible and focuses on reconnecting young people with natural and community supports.

Through the Service provided, young people are supported to:

  • Learn new skills to find employment and maintain positive relationships.
  • Build their guidance and resilience to cope with everyday life situations
  • Maintain a healthy and productive lifestyle
  • Re-engage back to school, with family and the community
