This not-for-profit incorporated organisation was established in 2016 by a group of highly motivated, experienced and professional volunteers.
Our members pride themselves on providing high quality first aid to their clients, and include the following skill levels:

Support Personnel

First Aider

• First Aid Certificate

Advanced First Aider

• Advanced First Aid Certificate
• Advanced Resuscitation Certificate

Licensed Medic

• Advanced First Aid Certificate
• Advanced Resuscitation Certificate
• Pain Relief Management Certificate

• Medication therapy for:
  • Pain relief
  • Anaphylaxis / Allergic reaction
  • Nausea / vomiting
  • Fever
  • Cardiac chest pain
  • Asthma
  • Hypoglycaemic episodes
  • Shortness of breath
  • Dehydration / shock (authorised medics only)

• Clinical Skills include:
  • CT 6 Traction Splint - For stabilisation of femur fractures
  • General fracture management both cardboard and vacuum splints
  • IM medication injections
  • IV medication (authorised medics only)
  • IV cannulation (authorised medics only)
  • Cardiac Monitoring
  • Spinal Immobilisation 

Many of our members work professionally in the health industry as nurses and paramedics, and all members are involved in professional development training.
