The Smith Family's 'Learning for Life Scholarship Program'

We offer Scholarships to eligible primary-aged students that, once received, remain active throughout their entire schooling experience (Prep-Grade 12)
(Scholarships may be cancelled if a student / family does not maintain the responsibilities of the Scholarship.)
 

The Smith Family's Responsibilities is:

• Financial assistance from a sponsor to help families meet the cost of school essentials like uniforms, books and excursions.

• Support from a Learning for Life Family Partnership Coordinator to connect the child and their family to local learning opportunities and other supports;

• Access to The Smith Family educational programs to help children get the most out of their school years. Our literacy and learning programs.

The Scholarship Family's responsibility is:

• Encouraging regular school attendance (preferably over 80%)

• Completing a yearly update (Student Profile) for each child (Term 2)

• Providing a school report yearly for each child (Term 4)

• Maintaining contact with The Smith Family (updating any changes, contact details etc)

To be eligible for the Learning for Life Scholarship families must:

• Hold a current Health Care or Pension Card (with the children listed on it)
• Have primary aged child/ren that attend one of TSF Partner Schools (eg: Rasmussen, Aitkenvale, Weir, Kelso, Garbutt, Currajong, Heatley and Vincent State Schools)
• Support the child/ren to attend school regularly (preferably over 80%)

If you meet the eligibility and are interested in participating in TSF Learning for Life Scholarship, please speak with your Guidance Officer at your local partnered school for a referral.
