North Queensland Combined Womens Services Incorporated

The Women's Centre provides crisis support, counselling, group work and other support for women in regards to health, sexual assault, domestic violence, relationship and other issues. The Women's Centre provides a 24 hour crisis line for domestic violence and shelter referral as well as a rape crisis call-out service, during opening hours. The service also provides information and referral, community education, accommodation referral, legal referral, welfare assistance and an on-line computer facility. All women are welcome to drop in and have a chat, access programs or participate in activities.
