Bee inquiries, collection and impounding of stray cats, dogs and wandering stock for Horsham Rural City Council & VicRoads. Pick up and euthanasia, free of charge, unwanted pets. Collection of stray stock, placed into the pound, advertised in the local paper and if not claimed within seven days of advertisement, sold by auction at Horsham Regional Livestock Exchange. Diseased animals are destroyed. A domestic animals management advisory committee with community representation has been established to guide council in its management, control and rehoming of domestic animals.
