About Us

Girl Guides provides a non-formal education program that is a dynamic, flexible and values-based while training in life skills, decision-making and leadership. It is supported by trained volunteer Leaders who are committed to the Girl Guides Australia's mission statement.

OUR MISSION ... is to empower girls and young women to grow into confident, self-respecting, responsible community members. 

Guiding in Western Australia was established in 1915 . Today, Girl Guides Western Australia is one of the largest youth organisation for girls and young women in Western Australia with over 2000 youth members and over 500 volunteer Leaders and adult Members. 

Activities: confidence, abseiling, bush craft, canoeing, camping, caving, leadership, cooking, recreation-outdoor, school holiday activities

Fees: $155 annual membership plus term fees (we offer support for families experiencing financial hardship)

Available to: girls and women aged 5 to 90 years

Supporting diversity: All disabilities, backgrounds and faiths
