Counselling and Support Services

Yura Yungi was established in 1987 and provides a clinic service with preventative and public health programs including maternal and child health, women’s health, chronic disease and sexual health. Specific health program management is integrated with curative clinic based work through the application of the MMEx data base. Transport is available for those people in need and is part of the outreach function. First aid kits and basic pharmaceuticals are provided to many of the outstations. Yura Yungi manage specialist appointment notification and transport needs to facilitate access to specialist services. A regular visiting service is conducted to Ringer Soak, Redhill, Nicholson Block, and Mardiwah Loop.
