Fremantle Family Doctors is an award winning private billing surgery with two locations in the Fremantle area, with appointments available every day, on the day, from Monday to Saturday. All the doctors working from our consulting rooms have trained in general practice to specialist level and they pride themselves on their high clinical standards and inclusive and compassionate care.

Our highly skilled support staff includes a practice manager, receptionists and registered nurses on duty at each location. We also have a Dietitian and Clinical Psychologist who work closely with our doctors.

We have a well-equipped Treatment Room that can deal with many investigations and procedures that might otherwise require hospital care. We also have separate children’s waiting rooms with a TV, which means happy kids if you are waiting!

Our cloud based medical IT system means your record is available to the doctors at whichever location you attend. We have Clinipath collection facilities and ample parking at each location.

Services

• Health assessments – including  general annual check ups, Over 75 yr comprehensive medicals, 45-49 year old health checks, pre-employment medicals, drivers licence medicals, diving medicals  – some of these are bulk billed, please just ask reception
• GP Management Plans and Team Care Arrangements – if you have one or more chronic illnesses you may be eligible for these bulk billed services, which gives you access to Medicare rebates for Allied health care (such as podiatry and physiotherapy)
• Diabetes management with regular recalls and reviews
• Asthma management including spirometry and device technique education
• Mental Health Plans – to access Medicare rebates for psychological services/counselling
• Travel vaccinations and travel medical advice
• Childhood immunisations – all children see a doctor for review prior to their vaccination, to check their general health and ensure they are fit to receive the vaccine.
• Women’s Health – including pap smears, IUDs (including Mirena devices), and implantable contraception (Implanon)
• Men’s Health
• Adult immunisation  including yearly Influenza vaccine
• ECGs and spirometry (lung function testing)
• Skin checks and minor surgery for moles/skin cancers etc.
• Wound care including suturing lacerations and dressings
• Iron Infusions
