About Us

Mission Australia delivers the Integrated Primary Mental Health Care (IPMHC) service across the Pilbara to people who are experiencing psychological distress, depression, anxiety and other symptoms of distress.

Who we assist:

To provide a regional integrated primary mental health care service that is stepped according to need and accessible to people who are disadvantaged through geographic and other circumstances and which serves as a central referral point for GP’s and other Health Care Providers that provides access to Mental Health, Pilbara wide.

Eligibility criteria:

YES to ONE or more of the following:
The person resides in the Pilbara
The person has or is at risk of a mental health issue or at risk of suicide
The person is not in crisis or in need of urgent assistance
The person has a Health Care Card
The person does not have access to other services
The person is in financial hardship
If the person is in crisis or in need of urgent assistance, please refer to: Rural Health or the local hospital

Referral process:

Referrals can be made by GP's, community organisations or by self referral.
Referrals can be made by phone, email or in person.
