About Us
At Holyoake Victoria Park, we provide individual counselling:
- Each counselling session is usually 50-60 minutes long, and appointments are available during the day and some evenings.
- Our programs include counselling for couples and families.
We provide group programs:
- Men’s Program: Helps men to understand and address their alcohol and/or drug use.
- Women’s Program: Helps women to understand and address their alcohol and/or drug use.
- Young Adult’s Program (18-24 years): Helps young adults to understand and address their alcohol and/or drug use.
- Tools for Change Program: For men and women who want to create change around alcohol and/or drugs, but are unsure where to start.
- Relationships in Focus: Provides support and coping skills to those impacted by the misuse of alcohol and/or drugs by someone they care about.
- Parent’s Program: Helps parents to understand their situation and explore practical skills to cope with and facilitate positive change.
- Childhood in Perspective: Helps men and women to address issues related to growing up in a family where alcohol and/or drugs were a problem.
We provide programs for children and young people who may be affected directly or indirectly by alcohol and/or drugs or related issues:
- Adolescent Program: Helps young people aged 12-17 years to address their misuse of alcohol and/or drugs, and to gain confidence, stay safe and reduce the harm of substances.
- Young People’s Program: For young people aged 3-17 years who are impacted by parental or significant other’s alcohol and/or drug misuse. We help them to develop the knowledge and skills to cope with their experience and foster an increased sense of self-esteem.
- Attachment (Art & Play) Program: For caregivers with a history of alcohol and/or drug use and their children. We use art and play to strengthen the caregiver-child relationship, reduce parental stress, provide support and improve communication.
If you or someone you care about is affected by alcohol and/or drugs or related issues, we can help you work through your challenges in a safe, caring and non-judgemental environment.
Our counselling programs are available free of cost. All you have to do is call our client services officer on 08 9416 4444 or email [email protected] to make an appointment.
