About Us

This is a 3-loop course following a soft gravel pathway through natural parkland. Some sections are slightly undulating. There are amazing ocean views throughout. It starts and finishes at the Pebbly Beach playground. Facilities Toilets (2 female, 2 male, 1 disabled), playground, drinking tap, BBQ facilities, 3 picnic tables with cover. Main Beach is within walking distance and is popular with families. It is patrolled weekends and school holidays during the warmer months. On the eastern end it has cold showers, more toilets and a large tidal pool called The Bullring. Getting There Location of startThe run starts at the Pebbly Beach playground. Getting there by public transportSee the Buslines Group website for local map and timetable. Closest bus route is the 305 that goes from Stocklands Forster to Head St (near Pebbly Beach) via One Mile Beach. Getting there on footForster parkrun is located within walking distance of many residents in the Forster region who live in the northern area of Macintosh St. Getting there by roadIf driving from Tuncurry come over the bridge and stay on Head St until you see the Pebbly Beach playground on your left. If on the Forster side turn right off Macintosh St at the traffic lights into Lake St to reach Head St. There is plenty of free parking right next to the course.
