Castle Personnel Services - Mayfield

- Castle's Inclusive Employment Australia services teams support people living with a range of disabilities, mental health conditions, chronic illnesses and injuries to prepare for, find, and keep the right job. We connect job seekers with our network of supportive businesses, providing individual support at every step of the process to ensure the best outcomes for both parties.

To be eligible for our FREE services, you need to:

• Be of legal working age
• Live with an illness, injury, mental health condition or disability
• Be unemployed or working less than 8 hours (on a DSP) or working under benchmark hours for other payments
• Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
• Live near Lower hunter, Hunter, Lake Macquarie or the Central Coast
• Not studying full time (15 contact hrs a week - 2 days a week).

- Our NDIS programs support participants the learn skills, build confidence and make new friendships along the way. We offer flexible group and individual Social and Capacity Building programs, and we specialise in supporting young people and school-leavers to build Job-readiness and Employment skills. Finding ways to support you on your journey is what we do best. Your NDIS support can be as unique as you.

Job readiness and employment

Everyone’s path to finding work is different and we’re ready to explore yours! Program includes:

• Job readiness training, hands-on skills and experiences
• resume writing, job searching and preparing for interviews.

Capacity building

Build independence through fundamental skill development. 

• Learn to cook, clean, budget, shop, use public transport and build confidence accessing the community.

Social

Discover new interests and share them with new friends!

• From anime, movies and gaming groups, to creative, bowling and the latest community events.

- We are also uniquely placed to support the transition of NDIS participants into Disability Employment Service programs to further prepare, find and keep paid employment.
