About Us

The course runs through established eucalypt forest on mostly bitumen paved paths. It starts and finishes at Richley Reserve picnic area, where there are toilets, shelters and BBQ facilities. The course is undulating for the first 1.5km, then rises steeply until the 3.5km mark. The last km is a nice fast downhill to the finish at a grassy BBQ area. Facilities Getting There Location of startThe run starts at the Pond Shelter at western end of car park. Getting there by public transportCatch bus number 224. Closest stop is near corner of Orchardtown Rd and Carnley Ave. Start of run is approximately 1km walk. Getting there on footRichley Recreation Reserve, off Freyberg St, New Lambton. Turn off Freyberg St onto road into Richley Reserve. Follow signs to car park. Getting there by roadRichley Recreation Reserve, off Freyberg St, New Lambton. Follow signs to car park.Please park in Reserve carpark and pay for parking as it's is part of our agreement and provides funds for the upgrade of the park, thanks. Post Run Coffee Every week we grab a post parkrun coffee in the Blackbutt Hotel on Orchardtown Rd, which is a leisurely 800m walk from the finish line and serves great coffee, cooked breakfasts and has lots of parking - please come and join us!
