About Us

Newy parkrun is a flat, u-shaped, out-and-back course along Throsby Creek at Carrington and Maryville, with water views for the majority of the course. It starts on a concrete bike path and heads North transitioning onto a dirt path. After 1km there is a sharp left turn onto a grass section which leads back to a path which crosses Throsby Creek. Runners then continue along the path almost all the way down to the Cowper Street Bridge before turning back to complete the identical return section.
