The Share Shop - Newcastle

The Share Shop is a library of things in Newcastle, NSW, where you can borrow things instead of buying them. Our things include tools, camping equipment and party supplies. We are a community organisation run entirely by volunteers. 

The Share Shop, is a non-for-profit association run by a committed team of volunteers which means membership fees and donations of money all go towards running the shop. Our inventory is currently made up for things donated by our community.

To borrow from the Share Shop you will need to become a member by joining up online or in person. 

When you want to borrow a thing you can reserve it ahead of time through our online system and then come and pick it up when we are open. You can also borrow what's available without placing a reservation but it's best to book to avoid disappointment.

You can borrow things for up to 14 days. Before you bring things back clean them and check all the parts are there for the next borrower!
