About Us

TSDC staff assist families, youth and children with living skills, emotional support, and assisting with the acquisitions of knowledge, skills and supportive networks:

  • Family capacity building
  • Providing information, advice and referral to a range of specialist services
  • Parenting programs
  • Supported Playgroups
  • Community engagement and social participation

We assist families, youth and children to utilise available support networks and community resources, provide readily available up to date and comprehensive sources of information and supports, and develop and co-ordinate community based learning programs and activities, which aim to develop the skills of families, youth and children.

Our Family and Youth Support Service, provides support to families with dependent children and adolescents. We can assist with: Case Planning, Living Skills, Parenting Education, Budgeting, Advocacy, Housing, Relationships, Referrals to specialist services, General information and advice, Centre based and home visiting services provided, Working Development Order (WDO) activities.
