About Us

The Building Strong Foundations (BSF) program is delivered by an Aboriginal Health Education Officer (AHEO) and a Child and Family Health Nurse (CFHN) working in partnership. The team work with parents, carers and internal and external child health service providers to support health, growth and development of Aboriginal children from 0-5 years. Reducing risks of child injury, illness and mortality and school readiness are focus outcomes of the program.
