About Us

The Taroom District Development Association (TDDA) was established in 1995 as a not-for-profit association to promote tourism, community and social development and to increase the viability of the Taroom district.

The TDDA strives to be an open and transparent organisation that works co-operatively with other community organisations to support and achieve the future development of the Taroom district.

The TDDA has two sub-groups:

  • Youth, Culture & Recreation
  • Business, Tourism & Development

Youth, Culture & Recreation sub-group

The Youth, Culture & Recreation sub-group are involved with managing the Taroom Youth Centre and supporting and fostering local arts and sporting groups.

Most recently, this group has facilitated production of the play Tales of the Underground, as well as obtaining funds to provide shade at the local skate park and to furnish and enhance amenities at the Youth Centre.

Business, Tourism & Development sub-group
