Jajum Bajara Program

‘Jajum Bajara’ is based on internationally recognised and evidence based Birthing in our Community (BIOC) model of care. For the first time, Indigenous mothers and babies in YBB’s service catchment can benefit from this BIOC program. Women will be allocated a named midwife and family support worker who will ensure continuity of midwifery care throughout her pregnancy journey. The focus on Jajum Bajara is providing women with choices about the maternity care her and her family receives.
