Waterloo Bay Leisure Centre

For over 40 years the Waterloo Bay Leisure Centre has been a central hub for the community, hosting events, classes, and gatherings for young and old.

Concerts are held regularly in our auditorium (which is also a popular hire with locals looking for an awesome wedding venue), classes and activities are held in our various activities rooms, and our bi-monthly markets which take over the entire centre (including the beautiful Shire Clerk’s Cottage) keep going from strength to strength! The focus of our activities and events is an emphasis on participation, rather than observation – which has immense therapeutic value.

We are staffed wholly by volunteers, and all money raised goes towards keeping the centre open. As one of Wynnum’s most prominent non-profit organization, we are proud to serve our community, even though we don’t receive any operational funding from Federal, State or Local Government.
