Inspired by Islamic humanitarian values, our aim is to alleviate suffering, hunger, illiteracy, and diseases worldwide regardless of color, race, religion, or creed, and to provide aid in a compassionate and dignified manner. Islamic Relief aims to provide rapid relief in the event of human and natural disasters and to establish sustainable local development projects allowing communities to better help themselves.

Overview

Islamic Relief is a non-profit humanitarian aid organisation, incorporated in the states of Sydney and Melbourne in Australia in 2011. IRAUS is a legally separate and independent member of a global family of collaborating relief organisations that share a common vision, mission, and family identity, and all of which use the term “Islamic Relief” as part of their organisational name.

Working in over 30 countries, we promote sustainable economic and social development by working with local communities to eradicate poverty, illiteracy and disease. We also respond to disasters and emergencies, helping people in crisis and their time of need.
