Surfers Paradise Anglican Crisis Care offers various services, including:

ST JOHN'S DROP-IN CENTRE: Monday - Friday, 11.30am - 1.00pm (door closes at 1.00pm).  Offering a hot lunch plus sandwich takeaway if required for the cost of $2.

WELFARE CENTRE: Monday - Thursday, 10.00am - 11.00am for interviews. 

Offering emergency relief, emergency food vouchers, bus tickets (cheques only) made out to companies. Clients require ID of either a Benefit Card, or Medicare Card plus current rent receipt. Also providing gift wrapped baby parcels to families, preloved baby/childrens clothing and nappies. 

KEN HANCOCK HOME: Monday - Friday, 9.00am - 2.00pm.

Funded by the Department of Families and operational since 1989, Ken Hancock Home and an Annexe provides medium to longer term, partially supported accommodation for up to 8 single homeless men in two attractive residences surrounded by Christian fellowship. The homes are situated at Nerang and have as their primary objectives the provision of a safe secure environment, with an opportunity for personal growth, and the development of living skills which will enable residents to move on to stable independent living arrangements of their own choice. The target group is men over 20 years who do not have disabilities or behavioural patterns which require continuous supervision. Admin criteria involves preliminary discussion followed by assessment interview.
